ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Miranda, a yoga teacher based in Harlow, Essex.
I started my yoga journey in 2014 as many of us do- seeking out the physical benefits. At the beginning, I was all for going to the most physically challenging classes I could find. Bikram Yoga, Hot Vinyasa, Dynamic and Power Yoga classes were my favourite kind. I was hooked on the amazing feeling I left every class with.
I soon broadened my practice by trying different styles including Yin, Slow Flow and Hatha and I came to realise that the amazing feeling I had was not only from the physical changes I could see, but also from the changes to my mindset. Suddenly, I found myself feeling more content, calm and at peace with all aspects of my life.
In 2016, I took my 200 hour yoga teacher training with 121 Urban Hot Yoga. I threw myself straight into teaching Hatha and Vinyasa style classes around my full time job.
Since then, I have had 2 babies, quit my job (eek!), and have completed pregnancy yoga and postnatal yoga teacher trainings.
I currently teach yoga flow classes which are Hatha Vinyasa style, moving through a variety of postures with a focus on the breath.
I also teach pregnancy yoga classes which are designed to help maintain an active pregnancy and support in achieving a positive and empowering birth experience by incorporating the fundamentals of hypnobirthing.
My postnatal classes are a wonderful way to continue your yoga practice after having a baby. The classes focus on rebuilding strength, releasing tension and offering mums and safe space to move, breathe and bond with their baby.
I love sharing the joy, healing, compassion, peace and light yoga brings to our lives and always aim for my students to leave with that amazing feeling that I experience from my own practice.
