Service Description

Bond with your baby while easing back into exercise. Regain strength, release tension and nurture yourself in those early weeks and months. Classes are recommended for mums from 6 weeks postnatally for vaginal birth, 8-12 weeks for caesarean birth. Classes offer the perfect way to reconnect to your body after having a baby. Physically, we will work on rebuilding strength and stamina in areas of the body that may have been weakened during pregnancy and birth while releasing tension in areas effected by early motherhood. Aside from the physical benefits, these classes also give mums the opportunity to relax, feel nurtured and feel part of a community. Babies are welcome to join in with mum but can feed, sleep, poop, cry, move around as much as they need during class. There is no pressure in these classes, you can do as much or as little as you like on any particular day. Please bring with you anything you need for your baby, including a blanket for them to lie down on. You do not need to wear a 'yoga outfit'. Anything comfortable that you can move in is perfect. Mats and other equipment for the class are provided as well as some refreshments and an opportunity to chat with the group at the end of each session. Classes are fully funded and offered via The Parent Hood of Harlow. Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking online. There are no refunds once a space has been paid for. Miranda Jane Yoga reserves the right to cancel or amend the class schedule and will offer a refund or alternative session if this is the case. By booking this class/programme, I confirm that; I understand that my participation is at my own risk and is fully voluntary. I assume full responsibility for any risk, injury or damages that I may sustain. I therefore agree that Miranda Jane Yoga will not be held liable for any injuries, loss or damages that arise from participation. I will inform the teacher prior to participating in class if I have a heart condition, high/low blood pressure, an injury, had recent surgery, am pregnant, am taking any prescribed medications or have any other condition that could affect my yoga practice. I understand that Miranda Jane Yoga may, from time to time, take photographs during classes for use in promotional materials and on social media. I will inform my teacher prior to class if I do not consent to being photographed.
